Awkwafina
Awkwafina was an American performer and actress. Her first release was humorous, cleverly written music that tackled issues like racial identification as well as sexuality. Then she expanded her fans to Hollywood. Nora Lum began her musical career as a musician on the trumpet. She was born in Forest Hills Queens, she was a child of Chinese immigrants and Koreans. Alongside classical music and jazz, Nora Lum started to study hip-hop during her teens. After concentrating on education, she earned the degree of journalist in university and also a women's study major. Her focus shifted to music only after she finished her studies. In 2012, My Vag (as a retort to Mickey Avalon's My Dick) became an internet sensation and featured in her debut LP Yellow Ranger. In addition to early shows like Girl Code, Tawk and Bad Rap she also appeared in films such as Neighbors as well as Storks. In 2018, her breakthrough performances included Dude Ocean's 8, and Crazy Rich Asians. She released the EP, in Fina We Trust in June in the same year.
