Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira, born in Campinas Sao Paulo on May 26, 1978. Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009), and A Indomada (1997) are among her best-known films. Ana Paula Oliveira became a participant in the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime (GI-TOC) in March 2020. She manages the Assassination Witness Project, and is a major part of the GI-TOC's multilateral engagement. At GI-TOC, her research focuses on assassinations in contexts that involve illegal economics. Also, she's fascinated by the effects of organized crime and human rights in the context of humanitarian policies and law. Ana Paula received an LL.M.cum laude degree with a major in International Law, from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. She also holds an LL.M in Public Law and an MBA in International Relations by Fundacao Getulio Vargas in Rio de Janeiro. Ana Paula earned a magnacum honours bachelor's degree Legal and Social Sciences at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. After four years of working period at an international law firm, she's qualified as a lawyer. The past experience she has had also involved assisting roles at non-governmental organizations that are headquartered in Rio de Janeiro and Geneva.
