Kristen Anne Bell (born 1980) is a popular American actor and singer. Her birthplace was Huntington Woods and raised there. She's the daughter Lorelei Frygier and Tom Bell. Her family ancestry includes Polish (mother) and German, English, Irish, and Scottish (father). Kristen realized her potential within the industry of entertainment at a young age. Her role was as Raggedy Ann in 1992 after going to the first audition. Bell was accepted by her mother as an agent when she was only thirteen years old. Then, she was chosen for the newspaper advertisements and TV commercials. In addition to having private lessons in acting, she launched her career around that time. Bell appeared on the screen in Polish Wedding (2000) in 1998 in a role that was not credited to her. Bell participated in the Drama and Music Club of Shrine Catholic High School. The Wizard of Oz was presented by the high school and she took home the role as Dorothy. Bell was a student at The Tisch School of the Arts where she studied Musical Theater within New York City. Bell left the university in 2001 and began playing the role Becky of Tom Sawyer. The same year, she had her first credit debut as Pootie Tang. Pootie Tang (2001), however her character was deleted and her character was not shown in the credits sequence. Bell made an appearance alongside Angela Bettis, Liam Neeson and in the Broadway production of The Crucible in 2002.
